    Heat Treating

Copper State Bolt & Nut Co. Heat Treating specializes in the heat treatment of commercial and critical care fasteners, as well as other metal related items. We are able to process production lots, as well as small lots. We work to integrate our operation with our own manufacturing facility, as well as our customer’s production facilities, in order to enable a seamless flow throughout the supply chain. We strive to create added value to our customer’s parts.

Our main processes follow AMS 2750 E, AMS 2759 D and AMS-H-6875 B. We operate four high capacity batch atmosphere quench furnaces along with numerous tempering furnaces and support equipment. Our processes include hardening and tempering, normalizing, full anneal, sub critical anneal, solution anneal and age, stress relieving, baking, straightening, shot blasting, glass bead blasting and black oil treatment.

We are members of the Metal Treating Institute and the American Society for Metals. We participate in a number of continuing education and industry shows each year. It is our policy to provide our customers with the processes they need, on their time schedule, with quality to provide the highest customer satisfaction.
