    Product Specifications
    Diameters: 1/2" - 4 1/2" & Metric Sizes
    Lengths: Up to 240"
    Specifications (1): A325, A354, A449, A490
    Specifications (2): 8.8, 10.9
    Materials (1): A36, 1045, 4140, 304SS, 316SS
    Materials (2): Monel, Inconel, Hastelloy
    Finishes: Plain, Zinc, HDG
    Testing: ASTM
    Part number: MFG_HeavyHexHeadBolt

    Description
Hex bolts are used for general tolerance applications and are typically specified when mechanical properties are more critical than dimensional. Hex bolts are typically hot forged with full body material. Most commonly used in structural applications such as steel fab, water work, power & energy, light poles. Allows a reduced body diameter to be not less than the minimum pitch diameter of the thread. Across flats equals 1 1/2 times body diameter.

    Hex Flange Bolts - 1/2" - 1 1/2" Diameter
    Product Specifications
    Diameters: 1/2" - 1 1/2" & Metric Sizes
Specifications: Grade 8 or per Customer's spec
    Finishes: Plain, Zinc
    Testing: ASTM, SAE
    Part number: MFG_HexFlangeBolts

    Description
Flange bolts are identifiable by the collar or large washer formed under the hex portion of the head. Structural Bolts - 1/2" - 1 1/2" Diameter
    Product Specifications
    Diameters: 1/2" - 1 1/2" & Metric Sizes
    Specifications: A325, A490
    Finishes: Plain, HDG, MG
    Testing: ASTM
    Part number: MFG_StructuralBolts

    Description
Structural bolts are designed to be used with nuts for the connection of structural members. The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) references the Research Council on Structural Connections (RCSC) "specification of structural joints using ASTM A325 or A490 bolts" to describe correct installation and tightening methods for joints using structural bolts. Used to fasten steel structures, steel fabrication, light poles. There are three primary joint types in use today for structural bolts: slip critical joints, pre-tensioned joints, and snug tightened joints.
